Obesity over a period of time can cause high blood pressure, leading to heart attack and stroke. Diabetes is known to be caused by being seriously overweight. This is why starting and stopping diets, switching diets from one to another will get you nowhere as far as permanent loss is concerned and may cause real health problems.
